- No subject that cannot be demonstrated objectively can have true
consensus. Government has no place in any subject that is not demonstrably
objectively justifiable except to discern those subjects.
- There is a difference between "freedom to" and "freedom from." No one
can tell you what to believe without your consent. But neither can you
expect your beliefs to be held by anyone other than yourself. No belief is
held by a majority of the world's population. Most people think you're
wrong.
- Majority rule leads to tyranny over minorities. There is no such thing
as a benevolent majority. By definition, the majority will always act in its
own interests over those of minorities.
- Partisanship is anti-democratic. Parties work to strengthen their base
in order to dominate. Domination, not negotiation, is the goal of parties.
Parties are not interested in your opinions.
